Joytech HDMI -NOT!! November 25, 2008 The Joytech switch would be great - if it worked consistently. HDMI copy protection schemes just mess with it too much. I had a Playstation 3, a Directv HD DVR/Receiver, and a Samsung DVD burner connected to it. Sometimes it would work - and sometimes not. Problems varied from totally not recognizing the device to severe color shifts. Needs an update before it can be considered.
It works. September 29, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Simple, small, and easy to hide out of the way. It does its job just fine. Does NOT need to be used with a PS3 to work, any HDMI devices are fine.
Worked grweat for a while, but I had issues with new DVD player September 19, 2008 Worked well initially but when I upgraded to a Samsung upscaling DVD player for soem reason this thing stopped working. don't know what happened but as soon as I plugged in the new DVD player I couldn't get anything to come out of this.
Worked as expected for 6 months, then went caput - I upgraded to a much nicer one from OPPO and haven't had a problem. OPPO HM-31 Certified HDMI 1.3 and 1080p Switch
It's ok... August 10, 2008 I have three devices hooked into this little switch: DirecTV HD-10, a PC via DVI to HDMI converter, and a 360. It works as advertised as long as you don't breathe in its general direction. If you do, the picture more often than not will not come up until you go jiggle the cables leading into it. It's a real pain, but at the time, it was far and away the cheapest thing I could find that had three ports. Times have changed, and now so am I. I'm writing this review as I'm searching for something to replace this PoS
Joytech Hdmi Tri-link cable connector. August 1, 2008 I bought this product because I didn't have more than once HDMI input into my flat screen TV. I wanted to run my DVD and Cable Box directly into my TV using one HDMI cable through the wall. The solution: HDMI trilink box. This allows up to 3 cables in with one hdmi cable out.
Overall it works well but occasionally I will find the unit sticking between switching back and forth. The solution is to switch back and then forward again and it works each time.
It is easy to set up and comes with a nice and small remote to switch cables easily. It was also easy to set up to work with my new Harmony remote.
It summary--it does what it's supposed to do 95% of the time, worth the small cost, and made an easy solution if you need to split an HDMI cable.
Good Luck!
